A picture to turn you off steroid abuse

Sure, on this website, we're all about being healthy and fitness-y, but it's easy to get obsessed and go too far. Life is all about balance and knowing yourself - unfortunately, our society allows easy physical fixes. Plastic surgery, body-shaping drugs allow people to be people they aren't.
For example, you're a thin guy. Enjoy it! Eat big sundaes and not put on any weight!
Sadly, some guys might feel insecure about their size, working out like mad to put on some bulk, and then take it one step further, going after the steroid dream. Inject yourself with some hormones, work out, bulk up fast.
The picture above is from a guy that went a little overboard on the steroids. Sure, he's all cut in that picture, but the following two pictures show a side effect, namely, terrible, terrible acne that disfigured him long after he stopped using.
Wired points out that the biggest demographic for steroid abuse is not athletes, but 30-year-old white dudes.
"Contrary to the steroid-user image epitomized by pro athletes like Barry Bonds, the survey of over 2,000 male steroid users found that the typical user was "30 years old, well-educated, and earning an above average income in a white collar occupation.""
The user from the picture, though, suffered from the shrunken testicles and damaged sperm that comes with steroid abuse., and once he stopped using, the muscle melted away like ice cream on a hot summer day.
