Laughing is good for your health

John Cleese, former Monty Python-member and all-around funny guy, certainly knows the benefit of having a good laugh. This is a guy who thought it would be appropriate to return a dead parrot to the pet store.

Found on BoingBoing, this video of Cleese going to India to join one of their infamous laughing clubs, where people go, presumably, to have a laugh. There may be a hobby magazine related to the club, as well.




I'm not sure how great an idea this is... after all, what if you don't feel like laughing? What if your mother died that day? You can't just have a laugh then go to the beach, can you? You'd be an outsider,then.

Well, like all clubs - you can choose not to go that day... I guess it's a good idea to encourage people to go along and learn how to laugh, I feel that some people in society take life too seriously and no longer even know how to smile
