Salsa Dancing in Sydney

There are a lot of ways to stay in shape and the fact is, many of them are boring and painful. The key to enjoying fitness is to find something that you don't mind doing, or is so much fun that you forget the time.
Dancing is an excellent way to expend energy while having a blast... dancing with a partner makes it a pseudo-romantic game, while the music moves your body without you thinking about it.
I've taken a variety of dance classes and I've always found Salsa dancing to be thoroughly enjoyable... the music and the heat suit my taste, more so than the Swing stuff.
Learning to dance Salsa can be an effort, though... back in Canada, I always managed to find places that had free lessons early in the night, then the club opens after the lessons. Often, the instructors are funny and enthusiastic, but, unfortunately for me, the cool Latin cats that show up later bring all the moves, eclipsing my awkward spins and hip shakes.
In Sydney, though, where can you learn Salsa?
Well, I don't know any place where you can learn for free, but in Kings Cross, there's a regular class on Thursday nights.

It'll cost you $15 per lesson, which means a month of taking lessons will set you back $60. Hmmm... I think I'd take my $60 and have myself a paella.
