Shots of Frosting

While you're working hard on the treadmill, I wouldn't be surprised if thoughts of cupcakes floated through your head.
You know which ones I'm talking about. The fluffy white cupcakes with the chocolate frosting and the candied ornaments. Heavy on the calories, no nutrition and disastrous for your diet plan.
What can you do? These cupcake dreams are dissolving your resolve, and the person who uses the treadmill after you has to wipe off both sweat and drool.
Luckily, bakeries have started selling shots of frosting, for pennies a shot. A quick boost of sugar, a little taste of what you want so bad. So bad it hurts.
You know you want to. Give in. Do it. Follow the crowd.

Here's the whole story on WRAL, with the entire decadent story. It seem that it was originally intended for kids, but it seems that adults can't keep their hands off them.

But what about the failed dieter, slumped in the alley, mouth rimmed with buttercream, eyes glazed over? Prone to quick violence and abject misery, the life of a cupcake fiend is not for me.
